Johann is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. He holds a BCom in Investment Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, and the internationally recognised Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®).
He believes personal finance shouldn’t be complicated. His focus is on helping people understand their money, make better decisions, and feel more confident about their financial future.
In 2026, Johann founded Rands and Sense™, a platform focused on making financial education simple, practical, and accessible.
Outside of work, Johann enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and travelling. He is also a long-suffering supporter of the Proteas and Liverpool
